Reducify Privacy Policy

Reducify (“we,” “us,” or “our”) values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the Reducify app (“App”) and related services.

 

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to provide and improve your experience with Reducify:
 

• Account Information: Name, email address, and graduation year.
   

• Profile Information: Gender identity, state of residence, university, major, and anticipated graduation date.
   

• Financial Inputs: Student loan balance, repayment goals, selected repayment percentage targets, and self-reported payment activity. Payment activity you log in the App is self-reported. Reducify does not process or facilitate loan payments.
   

• Partner Matching Inputs: Information you provide that helps us recommend an accountability partner (e.g., profession, interests, school, or other optional matching attributes).
   

• Chat Content: Messages exchanged with your accountability partner through our in-app chat feature. This is considered user-generated content.
   

• Survey Responses: Readiness surveys, reflections, or other information you choose to record.
   

• Usage Data: Interactions with tools, resources, quizzes, and progress trackers.
   

• Device Data: Basic technical data (e.g., device type, OS version) used to maintain app performance.

 

Reducify does not collect bank account details or lender login credentials.

 

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:
 

• Personalize your experience and recommend the appropriate program track (Grace Period or Financial Readiness).
   

• Calculate repayment insights and display progress toward your financial goals.
   

• Enable accountability partner matching based on the profile information you provide.
   

• Facilitate partner communication through our in-app chat.
   

• Maintain the safety and integrity of the platform, including the ability to moderate reported chat content.
   

• Deliver financial literacy content, micro-actions, and customized recommendations.
   

• Generate aggregated, anonymized insights for internal research or university partners (where applicable).

 

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using encrypted databases and industry-standard safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. See our Data Security Policy for more details.

 

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We may share limited, anonymized usage data with trusted analytics providers (e.g., Firebase, Mixpanel) solely to help improve Reducify’s performance and user experience.

 

5. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting info@reducifyapp.com.

 

6. Children’s Privacy

Reducify is intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.

 

7. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updates will be posted in the App and on our website. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
